Addison's 6-month Checkup

Today I took Addison for her 6-month checkup. I was excited to see how much she'd weigh, and I was pretty right-on with my guess. I guessed about 18 1/2lbs. Apparently Carlos thinks she's a monster because he guessed 20lbs!!! The nurse didn't have me take off her diaper (which was wet) so she weighed 18lbs 11oz. I am sure she would have been less without the diaper! She is 27 1/4 inches long, and her head is 17 inches. Hence, why she is so smart! Lol! She is in the 90th percentile for everything, which means she is a big baby! Obviously, we know this already, considering that most 6 month olds look like wimps compared to her. The doctor said her numbers are really good because she stays at the 90th-95th percentile at every checkup, which shows good, steady growth. And like I always say, I'd rather be chubby and cute, than skinny and ugly! ;-)And like Chelsea Handler says on Chelsea Lately, "Everyone loves to hold a chubby baby! Skinny babies are just...mean!" Lol! The bad thing is that apparently the baby no longer likes her doctor and she screamed during her shots. This was new to me since she NEVER cries at the doctor's office. Maybe Carlos will take her next time!
