Mothers Day Weekend

First I will start by saying that I am completely annoyed with Microsoft Photo Editor since most of my pictures are too large to be edited, so my slides do not even have all of the good pictures that I have taken...ugh!!!!!!!!

I had a great Mother's Day Weekend. We decided to take Addison to the Aquarium of the Pacific on Saturday, and even though it was packed, it was fun to watch her as she saw all of the sea creatures for the first time. She would just stare at them, and sometimes she would try to touch them through the glass.

On Sunday we went with my parents, aunt, uncle, and cousins, to Westridge Golf Course for brunch. It was a lot of fun and of course Addison got a ton of attention! She looked so cute in her Roxy dress. For some reason my mom must not have been holding her because I have no pictures with her in them. How funny!

Carlos had some great ideas for Mothers Day presents. He had bought me a "mom" bracelet which I had picked out. It is sterling silver and says mom in 4 languages. He also got creative and knowing that I like Lavender, made a lavender 'oil' out of lavender buds and Vodka. He found the 'recipe' on the internet, and then drove all the way to Ocean Beach to a herbal shop to get the lavender. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what he had in the jar that he kept trying to "hide". On Saturday my mom and I went to get pedicures and he made me a card which he had seen on the internet. It is a little house with window cutouts that have pictures of Addison in them. It took him forever, and eventually my dad had to help him. I should take a picture of it...it's too cute! He also got me a book from Addison called My Mother is Mine! And even though we got home at about 10:45 last night, we had a great time!

What a sweetheart! That's so awesome that he did so many things that he wanted to customize for you. :)

Seriously, I didn't know he was so creative. It makes me laugh that he took the time to look things up on the internet, and then actually make them. Lol!
