Sea World

Yesterday we went to Sea World...what a HOT day it was! It was only supposed to be about 72 degrees, but ended up being about 88 degrees! When we got there, we headed to the Polar Bear exhibit, since they are my favorite! Of course while we were in there I lost my Michael Kors sunglasses. I was more upset about not having sunglasses for the rest of the day than I was that they are expensive glasses! We checked the store at the exit, and checked lost and found a little bit later, and no one had turned them in. We went back to the store and sure enough, they were there!!! I was sooooooooo happy! They had some really good shows although we missed the Dolphin show (which we had already seen), and did not see the Shamu night show because it got way too cold for Addison, even with a sweater, jeans, and socks...she was so chilly! We did see Cirque de la Mer which was really good! It was on the water in Mission Bay, and the performers were really talented! We also watched the Sesame Street 4-d show. It was really hard to enjoy because people's kids were afraid and crying the whole time, and the 4-d effects were not very good. I guess we are spoiled from the awesome Bugs Life show at California Adventure. After we met up with Carlos's brother and family in the afternoon, the kids went on the net climbing thing in the Sesame Street area, and I went with them. Other than Elijah running off and crying because he didn't want to go on the slide, me and Tianah had fun...she was a great climber! They went to a show and we decided to go on the Sky Tower and Sky Ride which were pretty neat. They were not fast-paced rides, but it was fun to see San Diego from those views. Carlos decided to go on Atlantis since the wait was only 30 minutes...more like 45! Luckily Addison slept while we waited! It was funny to watch him on it! I thought he would get more wet than he did, but he mostly got sprinkled. That was good because Addison was using his sweatshirt as a blanket! We tried to stay for Shamu at night but it was way too cold and I was way too tired. Oh well, we will go again when she can really enjoy it!
