4th of July

On the 4th of July, we decided to do what everyone else did and go to the beach, barbecue, and then watch fireworks. Luckily, because we went to a beach on the base, it was not too crowded. Unfortunately it was VERY windy! I did not want Addison in the wind since the sand was getting in her hair, eyes, face...everywhere! We left after about an hour. I was shocked to see that people had little babies their...I'm talking less than 2 months old! After that we went to Nick and Melissa's apartment to barbecue Pineapple Teriyaki Burgers, and eat some really good fruit and vegetables. We decided to avoid the 1 million expected people going to the bay, and joined the rest of the people in Mira Mesa to watch the fireworks. First we stopped at Baskin Robbins for ice cream and then went to watch the fireworks. It was a really great show! Addison liked to watch them but did not really like the sound that they made!
