8 Months Old and a Tooth!

Addison is officially 8 months old! I cannot believe how big she is getting, and how fun and funny she gets everyday! This morning I noticed that she has a small hole in her mouth, and you can feel a tooth. You cannot quite see the white yet, but I am sure by the end of the day we will be able to see it! I definitely got my wish of her getting teeth later. It makes her seem like she is still a little baby. We weighed her on the scale when we were at my parents house and she weighed 21 lbs when each of us held her. She is really long as well! We take her on Aug. 19th for her 9-month checkup...I can't wait! She was going through a phase where she ONLY ate Green Beans and Oatmeal, and luckily she is past that. I am still not giving her meat since she obviously doesn't need any additional protein, fat, etc. I finally decided to buy her another carseat for my car...that's carseat #3! It is the Graco Nautilus which is in the Dori print...it is not actually out for another month or so, so we will be waiting for it. It is so nice and well worth the money, since she can use it until she is 100lbs...I don't think she'll be in a carseat that long though! And of course I fell in love with the colors...pink, lavender, and grey! She is still not crawling, but will roll to get whatever she needs. And I guess she crawls backwards on occasion! Something new that she has developed is a need to know what is going on at all times...she will literally look around people and things in order to see what she wants to see. If you hide something under a pillow, she will throw the pillow out of the way to get to it. It is amazing how smart she is...we look forward to the next month!
