Addison started feeding herself yesterday! This is new to me, since we just started her on table foods, and the mess was definitely different than my somewhat clean little eater. She started eating Gerber Puffs (Apple Cinnamon, Banana, and Cherry), and the first day she loved them! Then, she decided that she no longer wanted to eat them. This went on for about 4 days. I finally got her to eat them, and put them on her highchair tray. She pushed them around, until I realized that after all of the times I had told her not to put small things in her mouth, she really did listen, and would not put the Puffs near her mouth. I finally took her hand and forced her to put it up to her mouth so she knew that it was okay to eat them. That was all that I needed to do for her to go crazy eating her Puffs! She must have eaten about 30 of them, sometimes even putting 2 in at a time, one from each hand!
Here she was, studying her Puffs! What a funny face!
