She escaped!!!

So, Addison has been in her "toddler" bed for a few days now. Anyone that knows convertible cribs knows that it is literally the crib with the front removed (like a daybed), but with the rail put on so she won't roll off. She hasn't rolled off yet, and up to this point, she hasn't wanted to get off of the bed, even though it's inches from the floor. Last night we were in our room and I heard her on the monitor. I went into her room and when I pushed the door open, it was stopped by none other than....Addison! She had gotten out of her bed and was standing at the door. I don't close her door all of the way, just enough so the light doesn't get in, but she couldn't get it open. I think the poor thing was scared that she was trapped in her room. From now on, I will leave her door open, and put a nightlight in the hall. It was actually pretty funny!
