Cinco de Mayo Festival...and shopping!

This weekend was the Cinco de Mayo Festival in Old Town, "The Birthplace of California". There was music, food, different booths, dancers, and of course, a car show!
When we got there, we saw girls riding in a horse show, and then watched some little kids Folklorico dance. We even got to go on a Wells Fargo Stagecoach ride. It was amazing how comfy the seats were in the stagecoach, despite a really bumpy ride. Afterward, we talked to the person on the single horse which the stagecoach horses follow. He was determined to get me to pet the horse, so I finally touched it! Ever since getting bucked off of a horse in 5th grade, I am so afraid of them! Addison got close, but wouldn't really touch it, unlike the little girl about her same age that was pulling it's hair over and over again...ugh!
After we walked around and went to eat at our favorite restaurant, Casa Guadalajara, we went to the Las Americas Outlets.
I have been dying to go to the Disney Store, but have been putting it off. It's not like Addison NEEDS anything anyway! Well, we finally went, and of course I went crazy! They had this really cool Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Interactive wall hanging. It is huge!!! It has a bunch of pieces that you can stick on it...numbers, letters, shapes, etc. Very educational! Apparently it is normally $60, but it was on sale for $12.99. It would be great for a playroom, so of course we had to move around Addison's furniture to clear some wall space. At first I hated the way her room was set up, but she does have a lot more play room. Anyone else would think it looks nice, but I am just so used to seeing her room a certain way for the past 18 months. She also got some cute p.j.'s, a shirt, beach towel (you can never have too many), matching cards, and some other things that I am forgetting! We walked around the outlets, got some things for my friend Wendy who is expecting baby Carlie soon, and then went home. Everyone was EXHAUSTED to say the least!
