♥The Reyes Family 3+1♥: Addison is 2!!!

As of November 17th at 6:30 p.m., Addison is 2 years old! Where did the past 2 years go??? I think back to her 1st birthday and remember how she was barely walking, still not sleeping through the night, and not saying much more than a few words. Now, she is counting from 1-10 and 10-1, singing along with her Disney songs in the car, repeating everything you say, playing Soccer (and dribbling the ball very well even if her kick is less than ferocious), and so much more. It's amazing how fast they grow up. As time goes by, you are definitely not as paranoid as when they were first born, but you still worry about them all of the time. I am so happy that I have been able to stay home with her and spend so much time with her. I said before she was born that I wanted to stay home with her for at least 2 years, and now we are at that point. I can't imagine leaving her in daycare, so I will try to hold off for a little longer!

We went to Disneyland on Saturday with my parents, celebrated with my grandparents on Sunday, went to the zoo on her actual birthday, and then to Island's that night. It's my strange birthday tradition to go to Island's, unless your birthday falls on a weekend then of course there is more time to go somewhere else! She had so much fun at the zoo. We go a lot, but this time it was not busy at all, so she had plenty of chances to see all of the animals. I think we spent 10 minutes watching the sea otters, and even got to see a trainer taking a racoon for a walk on a leash. That was super-cool, although I enjoyed watching the racoon more than Addison did!

We had a very busy week, and will be happy to stay home this weekend and hang out around San Diego!

Opening one of her Disney-themed presents the night before we went to Disneyland...
