Last night Addison felt warmer than usual. I took her temperature, and sure enough, it was 100.1. After 2 years and 4 months, she has her first fever! We had to go out and buy Childrens Tylenol since we don't have any. I don't give medicine for no reason, so we had nothing around for her to take. I waited a little bit and gave it to her, which took the fever away.
This morning her temperature was 99, so I put her in a short-sleeved shirt and socks so she wouldn't heat up again. I was in the kitchen and she came up to me and said, "I need a bwanket." Awwww! It was so sad, since she is normally so happy and bubbly. I gave her her Minnie blanket and she sat on the chair with her babies (some of her stuffed animals) and watched The Princess & the Frog. She seemed happy at that point! Thankfully, her fever hasn't gone past 100.3.
