We went up to my parents house for Kyle's western themed birthday party this weekend. On Saturday, we got our taxes done in Long Beach, and since my mom was watching Addison, we took advantage and went shopping and ate at Lucille's. My grandparents were also at my parents house, so they all played with bubbles while we were gone. I joked that my grandpa, who she calls "Papa Cuckoo", will be taking a 24hr nap once she is gone. She was playing with him the entire weekend.
On Saturday we went to Kyle's party. It was decorated so cute, and they even had a petting zoo and pony rides for the kids. Addison went on the ponies 3 times, and probably would have stayed on the entire time if there weren't other kids there. She loved the animals in the petting zoo as well. She kept petting the baby goats who were so tiny and so cute! They even had the cutest alpaca ever. If I had a huge yard, I would have to get one, especially since the lady said she sells them for only $500!!! One of the cutest things ever were the party favors. Stick ponies! I can't believe I didn't get a picture of them, although I am sure I will get pictures of Addison playing with hers. They looked very easy to make, and Andrea and her neighbor made them for all of the kids. Very cute! Of course, Kyle looked great in his cowboy gear. It's so funny because every red-headed, freckle-faced little cowboy in her books is always named Kyle. I always joked because he didn't have freckles, but now he does! Perfect! All in all, it was a great party, and a perfect theme!
