La Jolla and the Wild Animal Park

I have tickets to go on a Riverboat in Mission Bay, and have been wanting to go, but thought the weather would be too cold this past weekend. Well, it turned out it was a perfect weekend, so we decided to go to La Jolla and see the seals at the childrens pool. We walked around while Addison slept, and then she woke up right in time to see the seals before we left. After that, we took the scenic route home. We drove through Birdrock, which is such a cute little coastal section of La Jolla, and then drove all over San Diego. Lol! It wasn't intentional, but it ended up being great. We went by Marukai Market on Balboa. I swear I had always thought it was an Indian market, but it turns out it's an asian market. I was hoping to find my favorite iced coffee, but found out today that it is in the Marukai Home Living store and not the market. Who knew? They also added a Sanrio Surprises to one of the markets, so of course we had to do some Hello Kitty damage!!!

On Sunday we decided to go to the Wild Animal Park. We hadn't been since last summer, and since Addison is so used to the zoo, we figured she might enjoy the Wild Animal Park again. The only downfall is that we forgot the stroller. We have a stroller in my car, and usually have a stroller in the back of the truck. Because we had taken the cover off of the truck so we could put our bikes in, we put the stroller in Addison's room. Well, since we decided to take the truck at the last-minute, we forgot about the stroller. I was seriously ready to head to Babies R' Us and buy a new stroller, but figured Addison might do okay without it. I have to say, she did great without it, until about the last hour when she was overtired and acting like a maniac. I swear she tried to climb under the railing where the ducks were. I wanted to die!!! She did have a great time though, and the day ended up being perfect, although a little warm.

Carlos picked Addison up so she could pet the deers head. Then it tried to lick his hair. Ewww!!!

 Loving the Bubble Show
She is not a screamer, but she was screaming every time she tried to scare me from inside the cave!
