29 Weeks

Weeks: 29 weeks (7 months)

Weight gain: 14 lbs since day 1. I have a little more than two months to go, and although it would've been nice to only gain 19 lbs like I did with Addison, it is still okay to stick with 25-35 lbs. I'm aiming for 25 or less. ;-)

Cravings: Sweets still! Ugh!

Symptoms/Changes: My pelvic bone feels like it's being torn to shreds. I never experienced this before, but in the words of Jessica Simpson, "It feels like someone threw a bowling ball at my hoo haa!" And now I know why people waddle. For me anyway, it's because my pelvic bone hurts, but, it doesn't stop me from walking normal in public. Lol!

Differences I've noticed this time around: (See above). I feel swollen, although I went to the doctor yesterday and she said I have no signs of swelling. When I had Addison, I was about 5 lbs less than I am now when she was born, so I actually felt like I looked okay. This time around, I feel like a whale! I think because my stomach is sooooo big! The nurse practitioner said that you can tell that she is all out front. It's hard to be nice and say "thank you" when people tell you you look good, especially when you feel like a beach ball!

Things Addison says about the baby: "I think my baby sister is going to have a huge head!"

Miscellaneous: Glucose and iron tests were both good. I was worried about my glucose because of my recent sweets cravings, but she said all of my numbers are really good. Blood pressure is still good, and when she measured my stomach she said that it is measuring right on. She also said that my weight is good, even though I don't feel like it's good. I think if I had actually been walking or doing some sort of exercise, I would have only gained 5 lbs by now! Oh well, I guess I am not near 40 lbs, or the dreaded 60 lbs that I hear so much about!
