It's so funny to drop Addison off at preschool and see what she gravitates to. Most of the girls gravitate towards each other, but she is always the first to notice when there is something new in the class (depending on what they are learning for the week), and wants to play with it right away. I'm going to be so sad when she goes to elementary school and I no longer have to walk her inside her classroom. I know I will miss that experience, as well as getting a chance to talk to her teachers every day.
Today while I was dropping her off, Sheridan's mom came up to me and told me how sweet Addison has been to Sheridan and how she has gone up and hugged her every time she has cried (usually when she gets dropped off) and how that helped her so much. Addison is very sensitive. Yes, she can be a brat, but if she sees someone crying, she immediately goes up to try to help them. It is the cutest thing ever!
She is so excited to be learning about the letter "A" this week in school, and has been telling me all of the words that begin with the letter "A". I hope she continues to love school. I know I always did, and it really helps as you grow up, and no matter what people say, the structure and commitment that you learn in school will ultimately help you in college and then in the workplace. As of now, she wants to be a doctor, but I definitely see that changing since she is interested in so many things!
