I'm thinking Addison might go straight to walking!

Addison is still not crawling! She can get to whatever she needs by rolling, or sitting up and turning herself and then rolling, but she isn't crawling. Originally she would start to crawl, but would go forward and roll. Now, she doesn't do that anymore...she tries to stand up! She will start to crawl, and push herself up with her legs. When she is sitting, she will fold her legs and push up, almost standing on her knees. I lowered the mattress in her crib since she is pushing up so much. I am thinking that any day now, I will see her standing! She has always liked to be upright, and even though she will lay on her stomach more now than she had in the past, I think that is why she isn't crawling. On a side note...yesterday we turned the carseat in Carlos's truck so that it is forward-facing. The general guideline is to wait until they are 20lbs or 1 year old, and she is now 21lbs, so we turned it around. The carseat in his truck can actually stay rear-facing until 30lbs, but she would get so hot and was so uncomfortable, so we decided to change it. It is so weird to be able to see her when we turn around, and she seems to enjoy looking out the window! Once her new carseat is delivered, in about a month when it is in stock, she will be forward-facing in my car as well!
