So, as anyone knows, our wedding was definitely last-minute, and everything about it was RUSHED!!! When we bought our rings, we had about an hour to find them before Carlos came back to SD, and anyone that knows me, knows that I need more time to 'research' things! At the time, we were also buying things for the apartment, and I did not want Carlos to spend money when we still needed furniture. I really didn't want him to spend the money on a ring that I only had an hour to pick out, because I would probably change my mind about liking it! Well, the other day we were at the exchange on the base. The exchange on this base is sooo nice, and is the equivalent to Macy's. We just happened to walk by the jewelry department, and I found a ring that I liked. It was actually just a bigger version of my ring. We went back to look at it two days later, and the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I wanted something different. I saw another ring but assumed it would be way out of our price range, but I wanted to try it on anyway. Of course, I LOVED it, and better yet, they were having a sale! And with no sales tax on the base, that was even better! So, Carlos bought it for our anniversary. He had every intention of saving it for our anniversary, but since he is leaving for Virginia tomorrow, I told him he should give it to me early! Lol! I had thought about trading my other ring in at Zales and getting something else like earrings or a necklace, but we decided that I will save it and probably give it to Addison when she is 16. Well, I have to say it...Carlos is the best! ***On a side note, don't judge the ring by these pictures! It is near impossible to take a picture of a ring with flash, and using the light in our apartment does not give the best results or clarity!
