Yesterday was Addison's 1st birthday party at Clark Park. It was a nice day, although it was a little windy, so we lost a few balloons before the party even started. The theme was Minnie Mouse, and Addison had the cutest Minnie/Zebra outfit that I had bought from etsy.com. Although a lot of people cancelled and we had a lot of extra food because of it, the day went really well and Addison had a great time. She had her first taste of chocolate, and ate a lot of frosting off of her first cupcake! And of course, half of it ended up on her face! She got a lot of great presents too! We have been playing with them since last night! It is so funny to think that in about a month, she will be opening up presents once again for Christmas! And for the record, she has some new words...baba=baby, baw=ball, bapa=grandpa!
