December Festivities Begin!!!
We decided that since we missed out on so many San Diego traditions last year (since Addison was weeks old), we would have to do them this year. On Saturday we went to the Del Mar Racetrack for the Holiday of Lights. This year they had a hayride with music that you could ride around the track. I thought this was a great idea since everyone could see the lights rather than one of us having to drive around the track. We got hot apple cider before we boarded, and Addison saw santa. Of course she cried, so Carlos had to sit with her!

On Saturday night we went to December Nights at Balboa Park. It is one of San Diego's biggest Christmas Festivities and runs two nights. They expected 300,000 people, and I am sure they got that since it was soooo crowded. We listened to Christmas Carolers in front of the Organ Pavillion and huge Christmas tree, and walked around the crowds to see what else we could find. Addison saw Santa in the Spanish Village. She hated him to say the least! It was too cute though. We also road the train that is right by the zoo. It is a miniature train, and Addison loved it! I am so happy that it waited to rain until today so that it didn't ruin our weekend!
