I just realized that I didn't post any pictures from Thanksgiving in Palm Springs, so here are a few. I knew that October and November would pass by fast since we were so busy, but I didn't know just how fast that would be. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was packing for Colorado, and now we have our Christmas lights and decorations up! We have so many festive things planned for this month! We missed a lot of San Diego happenings last year since Addison was not even a month old and I didn't want to be like some of the weirdos out there and take her out around people that are sick and the cold weather before she had her vaccines. That is another thing that amazes me. We see so many newborns out shopping and at amusement parks. I wonder if I was more picky than most, or just more responsible...and then I realize that Addison has gone over a year without an illness or fever, so obviously we did something right!
Tomorrow we are going to the Holiday of Lights at the Del Mar racetrack. It is a 1 1/2 mile light display around the track. This year they are doing a hayride where you can listen to carolers and drink hot cocoa and cider while you ride. We thought this would be much more fun than driving around looking at the lights! We will see how Addison does on the hayride!!!
On Saturday we are hoping to go to December Nights at Balboa Park. For anyone that hasn't been to BP, it is most famous for all of it's museums, as well as the Organ Pavillion, and of course, the zoo! They have a two day event to welcome the holidays and it is supposed to be amazing! They are expecting a lot of people, so if we can actually find parking, we will be there! I can't wait!!!
