Balboa Park

Since Carlos will be working this weekend, he got two days off of work during the week. It is actually a really good trade off since he only has to work 8 hours (or less) each day, and normally works about 12 hours. He decided to take yesterday off, and we headed to Balboa Park to visit the Reuben H Fleet Science Center. We had planned on taking Addison to the museum, and Kid City, which is a little play area for kids, and found out that our 2 for 1 coupon, was also good for IMAX. We took Addison to see the IMAX movie, Under the Sea. We figured since she did so well at her last movie, this wouldn't be so bad. Well, the fact that the IMAX makes you feel completely enclosed, and the loud sounds that played when the fish would eat each other, scared Addison. She made it halfway through the movie and of course we had to take her out. It was funny because there were children much much worse than her, but I don't like her acting like that and think it is totally embaressing, so we took her out of the movie. We also went to the Automotive museum and Air and Space Museum, since they were having free admission for county residents. We had a really fun day and it was nice to have Carlos off during the week.
