Rain...Rain...Rain

As everyone is now aware, it has been raining in California...A LOT! From what I hear, we have not had it that bad. It seems that everyone on Facebook is talking about seeing cars overturned, floating down the road, or in accidents. Yes, we have had our share of rain (and hail), but apparently where we live, we don't get the flooded streets like other parts of the city do. The other day we ventured out for diapers and milk, and I realized how crazy the rain was. The streets were rushing with water, and the rain seemed like it would never end. This was about 10 minutes from our apartment, and by the time we got home, the rain was nowhere in sight. Today I woke up to crystal clear skies and sunshine, which of course, turned into rain. I love it! Everyone seems to be sick of it, but I love it! I think I would be even more excited if it were snow, but nothing beats the sound of rain, the cold weather, and the fact that I have absolutely no reason to go out in it!!!
