It seems as if we are swamped with activities...now until the end of the year! Between planned activities and fun birthdays and holidays, to the not-so-fun (school for Carlos), we are really busy!!! On Friday we went to Mickey's Magic Show at the SD Sports Arena. We had a few mishaps along the way, including Addison spilling on her first shirt, changing, and then throwing up on her shirt on the way there. Let me tell you, I don't handle throw up well! I NEVER had to change her or carry around extra clothes as a baby due to spit-up, because she never spit up! Our burp rags were used to wipe drool, but that's about it. I have never had to wash a carseat because of throw up, or deal with the gross after smell. Luckily, we had a cardigan for her to wear so she was able to wear that during the show...although she did look a little strange in a cardigan buttoned up to her neck! Lol! It was a great show, although I could still smell the linger of vomit, so that was not cool at all. On top of it all, we had really good seats, and a great view of the show! Here are some pictures, although the lighting, and special-effects like fog made for some fuzzy pictures...
Since Fleet Week started on Friday, there was a big family festival where you could tour Naval ships and do some other activities. We went early Sunday morning before my parents came down. It was such a nice day, and we got to tour the USS Freedom. Carlos has always told me how narrow and steep the stairs are on the ships, but I didn't know it'd be like climbing a ladder. Good thing he has had practice climbing them so he was able to carry Addison!
