Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, got some great Black Friday deals, and are currently enjoying the Cyber Monday savings! We went to Palm Springs for Thanksgiving. We left on Wednesday night and came home Thursday night. It was a very fast trip since Carlos had to work on Friday. {On a side note: I got food poisoning and was so deathly ill, that he stayed home with Addison and took care of her Friday and Saturday. Let me say again how thankful I am to have a husband that will do absolutely everything just so I can rest!}

My cousin Ricky, his wife Shawna, and kids Aryanna and Cody came down to Palm Springs for Thanksgiving. Addison had not met them before, and she immediately fell in love with Shawna, who she now refers to as Nonna. She kept grabbing her hand to take her into the kitchen, outside, etc. When we got home, my Uggs were sitting on the floor, and since she had been wearing the same ones, Addison immediately said, "Nonna boots." Once Aryanna was feeling better, Addison decided that she would be her new BFF! She was trying on her bracelets, listening to her music, playing with her outside, and copying everything she said. Even when we go to my parents house I am still taking care of her, but with Aryanna around, I barely even saw her she was so preoccupied. I must say, it was nice to be able to visit with everyone!!! I am hoping that they go to my parents house for Christmas. Addison just loved them all! I realized when I got home, that I took so few pictures. I didn't even get any pictures with Addison or Carlos! I guess that is one of the joys of having a child...you take more pictures of them with everyone else. I guess it's better than taking pictures of yourself everywhere you go!
