Santa AND a Smile???

To continue with our Christmas activities, we decided to take Addison to see Santa at the Fashion Valley Mall. He is by far the BEST Santa ever...he'd have to be at that mall. After waiting about an hour and a half, we nervously walked up and put Addison on his lap. She cried at first, but as soon as the photographer brought out his reindeer, she was as happy as ever. She is seriously in LOVE with reindeer. She even cracked a smile. While she does look tired and a little stiff, we were still in SHOCK that she smiled while on Santa's lap. We had never seen anything like it!

 Later that night we went to Christmas in the Park in Poway. It is at Old Poway Park, which is so neat. They have a lot of really old buildings from before Poway became the city that it is, as well as 3 different full-sized steam trains that you can ride around the park. We were not about to wait in line for the train since you can ride it everyday without a line, but we did go on a horse-drawn hayride. Addison absolutely loved it. We were laughing because out of ALL of the Christmas outfits that she has to wear, she did not have one to wear due to them either already being worn, and the strange weather we were having!

We are so lucky that Addison is so well-behaved. It makes being able to go out and do fun things that much easier...and way more fun than having to deal with a screamer or a brat! I think she enjoys the Christmas activities as much as I do, maybe even more!
