Carlos had taken the day off on Tuesday so that we could go to the fair. With the new house, and everything that is being done to it, there is no way we have time on the weekends to do anything. Addison was so excited to go on the 'ride-a-ponies'. I don't even know how she remembered the pony ride, considering she was only 1 1/2 when we went to the fair last year. Of course, that was the first thing that we did! She loved it! And even better, Carlos didn't have to walk next to the pony while she was on it. She got on it, held onto the reins, and off she went.

She was also ecstatic about all of the animals! She loves animals, as long as they aren't hyper and trying to jump on her. She went on so many rides, and was so tired, that by the time we had gone back to look at the cows and goats, she was fast asleep! We knew we couldn't leave without her seeing them, since she would definitely remember once we got home, so we tried everything to wake her up. Finally, Carlos just put her into a standing position, she opened her eyes, and when he asked her if she wanted to pet a cow, she was WIDE awake! One of the 4-h people was grooming their cow, so Addison got to pet it. She also got lucky enough to pet a goat that one of the girls was walking around.
She had such a great time. And, I got my hair feathers (after 7 months of wanting them)!
