Finally...a completely finished room!

The thing about redoing rooms is that I strip them down to the bare bones, and try to replace everything. That means that rooms are painted, but are missing their vent registers, lights, etc. Lol! We finally got everything finished in the downstairs bathroom. I was honestly hoping to have a bathroom that had a pedestal sink and toilet (and nothing else), but considering the office could be a guest room if a closet were put in, we are stuck with (or maybe blessed) a full bathroom downstairs. The only thing that 3 full bathrooms means is more cleaning for me.

This was by far, the ugliest bathroom ever (I forgot to take a before picture). The light fixture looked like it belonged in the house from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. It was shell-ish and just weird. The cabinet doors were falling off and there was a butterfly print toilet seat. Ewww! It grossed me out to even look at it. Aside from a new door (okay so it's not 100% finished), the bathroom is the first room that is done...painted, decorated, fixtures hung, registers on, etc. There is a lot of wasted space when you enter the bathroom, and since it is rather large  for a downstairs bathroom, I chose a darker color to make it feel smaller and not so stark.
