On Sunday, we finally took Addison to the corn maze. It was only supposed to be 79, and when we went to breakfast, it was 50 degrees. By the time we waited in line to buy tickets, it was 90 degrees! Poor Addison was in her ugly Halloween shirt and jeans. She went on the ponies, where one of the ladies who walked with them was just in love with her, hugged her goodbye, and told us that she made her day. It was so cute, and I totally remember 'those' kids when I was doing my student teaching. My absolute favorite was the cutest petite little girl (she wore a size 3T in kindergarten)! She always made my day, so I was happy to hear the lady say that about Addison! She sat in a huge trough of corn kernels. She loved it. They were so dusty and gross, but she had a fun time trying to walk through them and have Carlos pile them on her. Then she went in the little hay maze, and was purposely avoiding the exits so she could stay in longer.
On Monday, my parents came down to go trick-or-treating with us (my dad stayed and passed out candy while we went out) and Addison seriously had so much fun! We just went around the corner since she seriously didn't need to fill her bag with candy, and then came back home to pass out candy. She was so excited every time she opened the door for the kids. She would tell them Happy Halloween, and almost everyone would ask her about her costume! Of course she would tell them, and she even told our neighbors that I burnt a hole in it. Lol! I did! Getting it ready for her playgroup party! I was steaming it and burnt a hole in it. Luckily, I have skills and added a ruching affect which looked awesome!
My parents stayed at Pechanga, so we met them at the hotel for breakfast and then came back home so my dad could install a shelf that he had built for our dvr and dvd player. It looks exactly like the two that were already there! Addison was super-tired, so thankfully, she fell asleep after dinner and has been asleep ever since!
