Ready for church!
Playing with things from her stocking
Leappad! Her new addiction! At least it's teaching her things!
My grandparents so excited about their new camera from my parents. Hopefully they remember how to work it!
Finally using the dining room. Still need some things on the walls.
Tea party!

Why did we not get a family picture? Ugh! This is the first year we forgot!
Yes, really asleep!
Christmas was so different this year because it was our first Christmas in our home, and the first Christmas with my grandparents and parents all staying here, as well as the first time that we had really hosted anything. I know, I know. I have to say, the entire weekend was awesome! The food was all so good! I was just so happy that everyone (except me) was raving over my breakfast. I think if I had heard my grandpa talk about the eggs or the fruit dip one more time, I might have thrown up. Blech!
Addison is the funniest present-opener ever. You always expect kids to tear open their presents and move onto the next, but judging how Addison has opened presents in the past, we knew this was going to take FOREVER! Sure enough, it did! She would rip off tiny pieces and hand them to Carlos. Once she would finally get to a point where she could see an actual present, she would either have us help her take the rest of the paper off, or in the case of the dolls, she would say that she was scared and run away. It was hysterical! Thankfully, she loved all of her presents! It's so funny because she got so many toys this year, and all are so different. From the leappad, to the cash register (which is one of her faves), to dolls, crayons, books, her new tennis racket, t-ball set, and so much more, she loved all of them! I know her favorite will be the swingset that my parents got for her, but considering it is in a box in the garage, and won't be set up until this weekend, it hasn't really set in. I'm just excited because the swingset will take up some room in the backyard...less landscaping! Yay!
After visiting with family and playing with toys, we moved on to dinner, which was awesome as well. As much as I wanted to put out the food on the table, I can't stand when it is crowded and you barely have a place for drinks, so we set it all out in the kitchen buffet-style. My grandpa and brother started eating before everyone had even sat down. Of course!
Christmas was so much fun! It was so nice to have family here, and was definitely weird to have them leave. Now everything is back to normal, except that Addison has a ton of cool toys to keep her occupied. As if she needed more. Ugh! It's my fault though. I love toys! They are seriously so much fun, and even better when they are actually educational.
