Finally, she likes Santa! It only took about 20 visits to Santa over the years to like him. She literally sees Santa at least 3x a year, although usually more. He seems to be EVERYWHERE! She now knows that Santa brings presents, which is funny, because we have a ton of presents under the tree already! I was really unsure about putting the presents out, since she knows that Santa brings them, but we saved a few things that will be "set up" by Santa on Christmas Eve!
I was planning on making the entire Christmas dinner, but luckily, my mom is making the salad and potatoes. Only a few of you will understand why I am definitely not trying to make everything! I found an awesome jello recipe that I am really excited to make. I finally sat down and made my grocery list and let me tell you...my goodness. I have SO much stuff to buy! Lol! I guess that's what happens when you decide to make sides that you wouldn't normally make. I am really excited for the ham to get here. I love Honeybaked Ham! I especially love their lame commercials that call them "affordable". For real? Since when was a 7 lb ham $75? But, in all honesty, they truly are the best, and precooked, which makes them even better!
I was the weirdo doing the Christmas countdown in July (maybe even June). I was so super-excited. But, now that it's just days away, I am freaking out. I have to get this whole house clean and ready for my parents and grandparents to spend the night, not to mention, I totally forgot that we need a rug and some sort of coffee table or accent tables for the living room. Eek!
