I am pretty tolerant when it comes to pain, so if I am hurting, you will almost NEVER hear about it. I rarely get headaches, cramps, or backaches. Literally, I can count on one (maybe two) hands how many I have had. And, I am not one who takes medicine. Call me crazy, but unless I am dying, I don't like to take anything unless it is neccessary. When it comes to childbirth though, medicine is neccessary. Lol!
Yesterday I woke up with HORRIBLE back pain. Every time I would walk, it would hurt so bad. It was in my lower back, and was seriously awful! I was not about to take anything, especially since I am pregnant, but by the time Carlos got home, I was barely walking around. Add to that the worst heartburn in a single day, and I was MISERABLE! I had terrible heartburn with Addison, but I don't remember it starting so soon! Carlos is so awesome! He came home, finished the laundry that I had been doing, washed dishes, and then went to the store to buy a heating pad. When you are never in pain, you don't have any pain aides handy! The heating pad helped, but of course, the pain was there when I walked, and not when I sat down anyway.
I cannot even imagine what I would do without Carlos. He does everything that I am too exhausted to do, and doesn't complain about it. If it weren't for him during the past few months, our house would look 100x worse than it does. Lol! Even when he was coming home from school at close to 10:00, after leaving for work at 6:30 a.m. and not having any time to relax in between, he would still stop at the store and get Ginger Ale and crackers, or whatever I needed.
Last night, while he was doing EVERYTHING, I was laying in bed with heartburn that was literally burning my throat. Needless to say, I fell asleep against 3 pillows, sitting up! Addison had fallen asleep so early last night, that she woke up at 1 a.m. I went in her room and she was wide awake! I put her in our bed, knowing that she would sleep in later since our room is much darker, and she was just didn't want to go to sleep. It was actually pretty hysterical. She kept trying to talk to Carlos, who was half-asleep, and was trying to tell us that she needed to sit up so she could see the t.v. It was on ESPN. What a crazy girl!
