Fun in the sun!

The title sums it up! We went from wearing pants and sweaters in the 56 degree weather on Thursday, to shorts all weekend...it was hot, and we were busy! The sun and heat were not stopping us. Nikki and Trent came down to Temecula for a wedding, so we met up with them at Lazy Dog's on Friday. I hadn't told Addison who we were meeting. She LOVES Trent (just like a brother...lol), so I wanted them to surprise her. They were so cute at dinner, but Miranda decided that she was over it and had her first restaurant meltdown. Addison never had those, so it was a new experience. Part of the reason may have been the LOUD noise. She calmed down halfway through, and then started up again. With her, everything is a new adventure, because she is SO different than Addison was. 

 

On Saturday we went to the Miramar Air Show. We just realized that we have gone four years in a row. It's so fun, and if you are close enough to experience it, why miss out? We used to live about 2 miles away (if that), and for the past two years we have just driven down there. Carlos drives there every day, so he's used to it. I wouldn't have taken Miranda if she wouldn't have worn the earplugs, but we took the headrest out of her carseat and she kept them on the entire time, all while sleeping! Addison had her first experience with the earplugs that go in your ears, and surprisingly, she didn't hate them.

 Truly the best stroller ever! She's just excited for Miranda to sit up front so she can sit in the back!

 

 

On Sunday, Nikki, Trent and her parents came to our house so we could all go to the corn maze. Of course we found out that strollers weren't allowed (even though the internet says they are), so we skipped the maze and did all of the other kids activities. They had so much fun! Addison rode the big horses twice, and went on the pony ride. She LOVES horses! Good thing because they are everywhere around here. She did not want Trent to leave, and kept asking when he was coming back to her house!

This was a pumpkin patch picture FAIL! It's okay, we are going to the farm next weekend, and I may make them wear the same outfits. Lol! I have a feeling we will be seeing these pumpkin outfits until Thanksgiving is over...I know, that is unusual for me!
