3 months (a little late)

I have blogged on my phone since Miranda's 3 month birthday, but hadn't gotten on the computer to get the picture uploaded until today. Miranda is officially 3 months old?! How is it possible that 3 months have already passed. She is a little chunk...but soooo cute! She now weighs 14 lbs 11 oz and is 25" long. Her length is finally a higher percentile than her weight. Her head is huge like always (92nd percentile). I guess we never need to worry about having her tested due to a small head. She is still wearing her 3 month clothes, but can also wear 6 month clothes. She can still fit into some 0-3 month shorts, but when it comes to pants, she needs the 3-6 months or 6 months for length. Just like Addison, she is long!!!

She loves to be held and to interact with people. Addison was very much a calm baby and would have fun playing on her own, or just being held. Miranda loves to be tickled and laughs a lot. She babbles all of the time and I swear she thinks she is holding a full conversation. She loves to go in her swing on the swingset. Yes it says for 9 mos and up, but when your baby is the size of some 6 month olds, you ignore that guideline. It's funny but when you have a big baby, there are some toy guidelines that just don't apply. I learned that with Addison. She also loves to swing on our patio swing. Yes, the ugly patio swing that came with the house. A year and 3 months later and it is STILL here. I swore that would be the first thing to go, but we LOVE it (not aesthetically), and it is impossible to find a replacement that's actually sturdy.

She LOVES taking baths, and sometimes if she is cranky, she gets another bath in addition to her morning bath to cheer her up. She especially likes taking baths with Addison. One day she will learn. =) Did I mention that she LOVES LOVES LOVES Addison??? When she sees her in the morning she gets so excited, and she loves hearing her squeaky voice. Don't get me wrong, Addison often has too much of Miranda, but Miranda can never get enough of her.

It was so odd the other day when I called the doctor's office to make Addison's 4 year appointment and Miranda's 4 month appointment. That should be interesting, although I am not worried about the two of them getting shots on the same day. I'm sure we will all be just fine.
