It's hard to imagine that it's already been a year since I was trying to figure out a clever way to tell my grandparents that I was pregnant. Of course, I ended up not having enough time energy to do something pinterest-y, so I ended up wrapping up a frame with the ultrasound picture in it. I remember thinking that I would do it Christmas morning, but I swear I thought that my grandma would be able to tell as we were getting ready for church on Christmas Eve, so I gave it to them then.
And now, almost a year later...we have our little Panda Bear here to celebrate Christmas. It's so funny how time flies. You think of how to tell your husband, then your parents, other family, and your friends, and by the time it's all said and done, the baby is here. I was determined to pay off all of her medical bills by December so we could use it as a huge tax writeoff, so I thought I would be frugal this Christmas and stick with two Christmas outfits for each girl. Well, things always work out for the best, and we were able to pay off the medical, as well as buy a million Christmas outfits, and help those who are less fortunate. What can I say...I love Christmas. I love giving things to others. Seriously, don't bother getting me a present, because I'd much rather see everyone's faces when they open gifts that I give them.
This year is going to be so much fun with two little girls, especially with Addison in preschool. They are not learning a letter of the week this month, but instead are celebrating Christmas and learning all about the birth of the Baby Jesus. Next week they have their Nativity Cookie Party on Tuesday, and their Christmas Pajama Party/Book Exchange on Thursday. I can't wait!
