Phew...

So, I was worried about nothing (see last post). Addison's feet are 'normal', and apparently her toes are pointing out because she is gripping the floor. The doctor said that as she starts to run more, they will straighten out. I love her doctor! Even though we have her 15-month checkup in two weeks, and were only there for the foot issue, she still sat and talked with me about some concerns I had. I asked her about Addison talking, and she said that 3-4 words is normal for her age, and the fact that she understands EVERYTHING we tell her is great! i.e Take the remote to daddy, Where is the light? Do you want to go to the park? I thought it was a problem that she is not saying yes, and instead is answers yes to questions by saying "eh", but she assured me that the word yes is really hard for babies. She told me not to worry, and that if she were a boy, she would probably be even slower at talking. She also told me that shoes would not make a difference with her feet! She was wearing her Robeez, and had her Stride Rite shoes and Keds at home waiting to be worn to 'help' her feet. When I found this out, I immediately ordered the cute clear jelly shoes from Old Navy!!! I had held off because I didn't think they were good for her feet! Yay!
