Seeing GREEN...

I think green is my color-of-the-year, for so many reasons! In all honesty, I didn't realize how much I like green, and I'd never call it my favorite color, but I have noticed how I always gravitate toward green!

For example...a lot of my winter wardrobe last year consisted of green! 

When we painted our office, I chose an awesome shade of green for the walls. Perfect in that room, but it probably wouldn't be great anywhere else! 

We already have a green couch and chair in our family room, and we just went out yesterday and bought a sofa and love seat in, you guessed it...green!  When we saw the sofa and love seat yesterday, they were in a brown that looked like a leather you'd see in a western decorated home. Very pretty, but not my taste. So, even though we went into the store with the intentions of going generic, chocolate corduroy, I wanted something that wasn't so traditional and boring. We found the nail head sofa and love seat, and once I saw that you could order it with custom fabrics, I was in love. But seriously, was I planning on green? Not a chance. It's a muted olive green chenille type of fabric, so hopefully it looks that way when they actually put it on the sofa. I'd hate to end up with hunter green. Lol!

Our car that we bought last month, also green! I never saw myself as a green person. When we got our car, I couldn't have imagined getting green, but when I see all of the other colors, the green is so pretty!

I guess I should reconsider my favorite color! Green might just be my new purple!
