These are pictures from December Nights in San Diego. And yes, they are two weeks old! We have gone every year and Addison loves it! I just realized that there are no pictures of Addison and I together...oops!
This past weekend we took Addison to look at Christmas lights around Temecula. It's so fun to see how people decorate their homes. We spent over $300 on outside lights and decorations, and our house still doesn't seem to have enough. The people around here go ALL out! While we were looking at Christmas lights Addison kept saying, "Beautiful", "Amazing", and her favorite, "Christmas lights...dead ahead!"
I am happy to say that we finally got Addison that darn Leapfrog Leappad. I was going to get it in November, but the pink/purple was sold out. For some reason, I thought we might be able to get one in December. This is the TOY OF THE YEAR...what was I thinking??? We searched and searched and finally gave up. I was already done with her Christmas shopping, even though I managed to add about 6 more presents after I finished, so I decided I would just wait and get it for her next month. I know, it's kind of a big thing for a no-occasion present, but she deserves it. Well, I had signed up on nowinstock.net, and lo and behold, got a notification that there were a few in stock at Amazon. I was surprised to see that I actually got one. I am waiting to buy the accessories and games until it actually arrives. I've heard so many stories of people ordering things and then receiving emails that the item went out of stock. Now I just need to buy presents for everyone else! The brothers are the only ones who actually have Christmas presents. Now I need to buy for the parents. Gift cards for everyone! And of course, not thinking, I decided to make the entire Christmas dinner by myself. I don't think I've (n)ever cooked such a big meal for 7+ people, so this should be VERY interesting!
