Sickies...

Addison and I are sick! Yuck! Addison has croup, which is apparently very common among babies and toddlers. I'm thankful that she only had the barking seal cough one time before taking her to the doctor. Since she got her medicine, she has just had your typical cough that most children get. The problem is that the only cough Addison has had has been when sh drinks water too fast. So of course, she does not want to cough, and gets scared when she does. Seeing her reaction makes me very thankful that she was NEVER sick as a baby.

I had an appointment with my doctor on Wednesday, and while I avoid medicine at all costs, I called him for a z-pac on Thursday. It's now Saturday and I feel like I'm getting worse. Now I have a sore throat, cough, and full-blown cold. Even my teeth hurt. It's crazy to think that the baby is being protected, even though I feel worse than ever. On a good note, I had another ultrasound and everything looked great. I asked about inductions and he is totally on board, but he said I should expect a June baby anyway since the second baby usually comes sooner. Yay!
