Trent's 1st Birthday

On Saturday we went to Trent's first birthday! It does not even feel like a year has passed since he was born! We love Trent! He is the cutest little boy ever! He is a cross between a Kewpie (sp) doll and the Gerber baby. And, he has THE longest eyelashes EVER! They make Addison's long eyelashes look short!

I have to say that this party was by far, the best kids party I have ever been to. It was fun for adults and kids. And all of the activities for kids were totally age appropriate, which was really nice! Nikki found the coolest bouncer ever. It was farm themed which was perfect for his Western party, and it was a toddler bouncer so all of the little obstacles were perfect for kids under 5. They had also rented a ball pit, which all of the kids loved. We stayed for 5 hours, but Addison literally would have stayed all night. She had so much fun with her new friends. Too bad I was soooo tired. Everything was so cute! Diane (Nikki's mom) had painted a cowboy and cowgirl onto wood with cutouts for the kids to take their pictures. If I ever have a western party, I might steal them! They then printed the pictures and sent them home in a western frame as part of the goody bag. Of course Addison's favorite party favor was the ride-a-pony, otherwise known to America as a stick pony. She has one from Kyle's party that was made from felt, but these were so adorable because they were made from different colored fabrics. They even made one for the baby. So, needless to say, Addison brought home two, and she thinks they are both hers!

The cake, cupcakes, and cake pops were to die for, and were all made by her friend Nicole. Trent didn't really want anything to do with his smash cake. It was too cute! He truly is the coolest little boy ever. I was expecting a terror, since most little boys that I am around are either yelling, crying, or running around like chickens with their heads cut off. He was so mellow. I couldn't believe it. Nikki's little boy...mellow?

I can't wait to see all of the pictures that her friend took. I guess I didn't have my camera on auto, so my pictures didn't turn out too well. Oh well, it was still fun!
